Re-Create, the association behind galvanising support for the Bill, have invited academic heavyweights to discuss "Decolonising Copyright". The term "decolonisation" can be contrasted with Friday's seminar "On a Knife's Edge" supported by the Copyright Coalition. Both have provocative titles; the term decolonisation has become a political mantra for change and liberation in South Africa, the other alludes to precarity, consequence and fear.
