Focus on intellectual property is key for corporate survival

Writing for Business Report, David Kaplan (a professor at UCT Graduate School of Business) and Anhil Sinha (head of the UN WIPO research and development program) promote the new strategic intellectual property management course in a researched piece entitled “Focus on intellectual property is key for corporate survival”. According to the article nearly 80% of the value of firms in developed countries comprises intangible assets, most of which are protected in one way or another by IP.
